Rust runs Easy Anti-Cheat, so you need a build made for EAC. That's Advanced, the Premium tiers or MiTM, and all of them run on AMD or Intel. Private isn't for Rust, because it doesn't cover EAC.
Last checked: October 1, 2026. Facepunch can change this in any update, so if you're reading it much later, ask before you pay.
The builds for Rust
| Build | CPU | People on a device | Warranty |
|---|---|---|---|
| Advanced | AMD or Intel | No limit | 1 month |
| Premium T1 | AMD or Intel | Up to 50 | 1 month |
| Premium T2 | AMD or Intel | Up to 25 | 1 month |
| Premium T3 | AMD or Intel | Up to 5 | 3 months |
| MiTM | AMD or Intel | Just you | While your key is renewed |
Each one needs a 75T or 100T card, like our GODLIKE 100T, and a board from 2020 or newer. Prices are on each build's page.
- Advanced, if you're on a budget.
It's our cheapest build, with no slot limit. - Premium, if you want fewer people on your device.
T1, T2 and T3 cap a device at 50, 25 and 5 people. T1 vs T2 vs T3 helps you pick. - MiTM, if you want a device that's only yours.
You renew a key instead of paying once. MiTM firmware explains it.
Secure servers need Secure Boot and TPM
Since March 2026, Rust server owners can let in only players who have Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 on. Those servers show a Secure tag in the server browser. Facepunch says it wants to make this required on every server later, with no date yet.
Our firmware doesn't need Secure Boot or TPM off, so you leave both on anyway. Do you need to turn off Secure Boot, TPM or IOMMU? explains why, and Facepunch has its own guide to turning them on.
The software
Blurred, the software we suggest, lists Rust on blurred.gg. Which software says what to check first. We don't sell software, so you buy it from Blurred and they do their own support.
If you get banned
Rust's EAC bans are permanent. The ban shows as a game ban on your Steam profile, and it isn't lifted if you ask. New accounts used to get around a ban get banned too. Facepunch has one exception: if your ban is more than 8 months old, you never cheated again or dodged the ban, and you aren't hardware banned, you can buy Rust again on a new account.
A ban on its own isn't a warranty claim. Firmware warranty says what is, and Is DMA detectable? explains how people get caught.
Before you buy
Will DMA work for me? runs five checks on your PC, and Which anti-cheat does my game use? has the other games. If you're still not sure, post your CPU, motherboard and the games you play on the support forum before you order <3
No account needed. It tells us what to write more of.
