DMA radar: web radar, 2D radar and radar-only setups

A DMA radar shows every player on a map from above, on a second screen or in a browser. Web radar, what a radar-only setup needs, the PC it runs on and the games.

A DMA radar is a map of the match seen from above, with every player your card can read on it. It runs on your second computer and needs no fuser and no aim device, so it's the smallest DMA setup you can run.

2D radar and web radar

  • 2D radar.
A window on your second computer with the map and a dot for each player, often with the way they face and their name. You put it on a second monitor next to your game.
  • Web radar.
The same map in a browser. Your second computer serves it, and you open it on a phone, a tablet or another PC. Blurred's Rust page says its web radar can be shared with friends and teammates.

ESP shows the same positions on your game's screen instead, and What is ESP? covers it.

A radar-only setup

You need three things:

No fuser, no aim device and no second monitor if you use a web radar on your phone. What the parts cost is in How much does a DMA setup cost?

What PC a radar needs

A radar draws a flat map, so it asks less of your second computer than ESP does. What slows a radar down is your DMA speed, because every dot comes from a memory read. Test yours with the MewTools speed test, and if it's low, see Fix low DMA speed.

Games where people use a radar

  • Escape from Tarkov.
Big maps and loot, so a radar is what most people want for Tarkov (Tarkov DMA).
  • Warzone.
A radar on a second screen shows the players around you on a big map. New Warzone maps get server culling from Season 1, which can stop far away enemies reaching your PC (Server culling in MW4).
  • Rust.
Blurred lists a web radar for Rust (Rust DMA).
  • Battlefield 6.
Big maps with vehicles (BF6 DMA).

Is a radar safer than ESP?

Your card reads the same memory either way, so the anti-cheat sees the same card. A radar on your phone does keep your main screen clean, which matters if you stream or record. What gets people caught is how they play with what they see (Is DMA detectable?).

Common questions

  • Can I run a radar on my phone?
Yes, with a web radar. You open it in your phone's browser.
  • Do I need a fuser for a radar?
No. A radar sits on its own screen.
  • Can I use a free radar from GitHub?
Those are projects by other people, and we don't support them. Check which card and firmware a project expects before you use it, and open a ticket in our Discord if your card is the problem.
