DMA firmware warranty, replacements and upgrades
Firmware and hardware each have their own warranty, and they start on different days. Our terms have the full wording.
How long each warranty lasts
| What you bought | Warranty | It starts |
|---|---|---|
| Lite (no longer sold), Advanced, Premium T1 and T2 | 1 month | The day your build is handed over |
| Private | 2 months | The day your build is handed over |
| Premium T3 | 3 months | The day your build is handed over |
| MiTM | For as long as your key is renewed | With your key |
| Hardware: the card, fusers, MAKCU and FERRUM | 3 months | The day the carrier marks the parcel delivered |
My Orders shows how long is left on each one, and we email you before a warranty ends.
A firmware warranty covers a new device if we confirm and announce that your device is blocked or detected. On MiTM we only need to confirm it, since every MiTM device is unique. It also covers a replacement if your build can't be made to work with your board. It doesn't cover your game accounts. A ban on its own isn't a warranty claim, because a ban can also come from reports or from how someone plays. A ban is between you and the game, and we aren't responsible for what a game does to an account. A ban from this site, for example for scamming other members, ends your warranty.
How to claim your warranty
Open a ticket in our Discord and send your order ID. Make sure the Discord account you open the ticket with is linked to the site account that has that order. You can link it in Settings.
If your build is blocked or detected
Blocked means the anti-cheat stops the card working with a game. Detected means it has recognized the device. Is DMA detectable? explains both.
Blocked or detected, both are handled the same way.
In warranty, once we've confirmed and announced the block or detection, we move you to a new device:
We only move the people who ask. We can't store and replace everyone on a device automatically, so nobody is moved until they open a ticket with their DNA ID. The new file lands on your order page, marked "Use this one", and the old one is listed as blocked or detected.
If your build stops working in a game and nothing has been announced, open a ticket anyway and tell us the game, what happened and when. DMA firmware after you flash covers bans, game updates and keys.
Out of warranty, 40% of what you paid comes off your next order.
On MiTM, you make a new config for the game and don't buy MiTM again. MiTM firmware has the rest.
If someone else on your device gets caught
On a shared build, other people run the same device as you, but your serials are your own. What shared firmware means explains what that means for you. If we confirm the device itself is blocked or detected, we announce it, and everyone on it who is still in warranty claims a new device the same way as above.
Hardware warranty claims
Every part is tested before it ships. If it arrives faulty or develops a fault within three months, we replace it.
Whether you post the faulty part back, and who pays shipping to and from China: TBD.
The warranty covers faults, not damage you caused, like a bad flash or a bent slot. There are no returns on hardware.
Upgrading to a higher build
You can move up to any higher build, in or out of warranty, and you get money off:
- In warranty.
65% of what you paid comes off the build you move to. If you paid $99 for Lite, which we no longer sell, $64.35 comes off. - After warranty.
40% of what you paid comes off, but only if your build was blocked or detected. If you paid $200 for Advanced, $80 comes off.
An upgrade is a whole new build, not an add-on, so you flash it again, and it comes with a fresh warranty. A Premium tier needs an open slot. To use it, open a ticket in our Discord before you buy and we'll work out the price with you there. Whether a MiTM key counts toward it: TBD.
Extending a warranty
Every firmware warranty can be extended for $100 a month. Ask in your ticket before it ends, because we can't extend one after it has ended. When a new device comes out, upgrading is usually better value, and it starts a fresh warranty. MiTM needs no extension, because it's covered while you renew your key.
Holding a slot
You can hold a slot on a build by paying 50% up front. That 50% isn't refunded, so ask in a ticket first.
Changing your card or your CPU
- A new card.
Every build except MiTM is tied to one card's DNA ID. In warranty, we can make a build for the new card at a small extra cost, and the old build is deleted. Out of warranty it's a new purchase. Check the new card works before you buy firmware for it. - A new card on MiTM.
MiTM is tied to your second computer, not the card, so you only redo the setup, in about ten minutes.
Moving your card to a new PC, or reinstalling Windows? Move a DMA card to a new PC or reinstall Windows covers what you redo.
If your game changes anti-cheat
Your build stays made for the anti-cheats on its list. If your game adds or swaps one after you buy, whether that counts under your warranty or the upgrade credit: TBD. Ask in your ticket, and check Which anti-cheat does my game use? before you buy again.
Refunds
We always fix or replace your firmware first. On the very rare occasion we still can't get it working after extensive work, and you have followed our instructions and helped us the whole way, we refund you. Our terms have the exact wording. There are no returns on hardware. Read them before you pay, and ask in your ticket before your warranty ends if anything here is unclear.
No account needed. It tells us what to write more of.
