CS2 DMA: VAC vs FACEIT, and which firmware works

Every one of our builds works on Counter-Strike 2 in Valve's own matchmaking, which runs VAC. None of them works on FACEIT, MiTM included. If FACEIT is where you mostly play, don't buy DMA from us for it.

VAC: Premier, Competitive and the rest

CS2's own modes, Premier and Competitive included, run Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC). VAC has no kernel driver, and CS2 doesn't ask for Secure Boot, TPM or IOMMU.

Every build lists CS2 under VAC, so pick by your CPU and your other games.

• Just CS2, or EAC games too.
  Advanced is our cheapest build, and it runs on AMD or Intel. The Premium tiers put fewer people on your device. T1 vs T2 vs T3 helps you pick.
• VALORANT too, on Intel 11th gen or newer.
  Private covers Vanguard and VAC, but not EAC. VALORANT DMA has the details.
• A device that's only yours.
  MiTM is a key you renew. It runs on AMD or Intel and covers EAC too, plus Vanguard on Intel 11th gen or newer.

Each one needs a 75T or 100T card, like our GODLIKE 100T, and a board from 2020 or newer. Choosing your firmware compares the builds on everything else.

FACEIT

FACEIT is a separate platform with its own anti-cheat, and it asks your PC for a lot more than Valve does.

• TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot.
  Required for every player since November 25, 2025.
• IOMMU and VBS.
  FACEIT has been turning these on for more and more players since 2025. IOMMU limits what a PCIe device can read from memory. VBS is the Windows feature Memory Integrity runs on.

None of our builds works on FACEIT, so don't buy one for it. IOMMU and Kernel DMA Protection explains what IOMMU does.

VAC bans

VAC bans are permanent, and Steam Support can't remove them. The only ones that come off are bans issued by mistake. Is DMA detectable? explains how people get caught.

The software

Blurred, the software we suggest, doesn't list CS2 on blurred.gg. Start a topic on the forum and we'll tell you what people run for it. Whatever you pick has to support your card and your build, and Which software says what to check.

Before you buy
