Apex Legends moved from Easy Anti-Cheat to EA's own anti-cheat, EA Javelin Anticheat, on September 29, 2026. Every MewDMA firmware runs on EA Javelin, so every build we sell runs Apex.

What changed
- EAC is gone from Apex on PC.
EA ended its partnership with Easy Anti-Cheat for Apex and switched to Javelin with a normal game update. - EA says it wants more control.
It said running its own anti-cheat gives its teams more insight into new cheats and more room to build detections. - No BIOS change for Apex, for now.
Some other Javelin games need Secure Boot on. EA said Apex doesn't, at least at launch.
Before the switch, Apex was an EAC game. That's why older guides may still list it under EAC. On our builds it's now on the EA row, next to Battlefield 6.
Javelin on other games
Javelin already runs on Battlefield 6, Battlefield 2042, EA SPORTS FC 26 and skate. Battlefield 6 needs Secure Boot on. Battlefield 6 DMA covers what that means for DMA.
Which build to get
Every build works on EA Javelin: Advanced, the Premium tiers, Private, RDMA and MiTM.

Any build runs it, so start with the cheapest one you pay once. Which DMA firmware should you buy? compares them. - Play other games too?
Pick the build for those, and Apex comes with it. Which anti-cheat does my game use? - Already own firmware?
It runs Apex too. Every MewDMA firmware runs on EA Javelin.
Everything can and will be detected eventually, no matter what anyone says.

The switch is for PC. DMA is a PC setup anyway.
