DMA firmware after you flash: bans, updates, keys

This page assumes your build is flashed and the speed test passes.

What "undetected" means

Our firmware is undetected, but any build can be detected at any moment. We'll never promise you won't get banned.

Undetected means we have no confirmed block or detection on that device. Is DMA detectable? explains how people get caught.

When we announce a detection

We post news about our devices, ban waves included, in Updates on the forum. If we confirm and announce that your device is blocked or detected and you're in warranty, open a ticket in our Discord with your MewDMA username and your card's DNA ID. We only move the people who ask. Firmware warranty and upgrades has the steps and the wait.

MiTM is never announced, because every MiTM user has their own device. There, we only need to confirm it.

If you get banned

A ban on its own isn't a warranty claim. Bans also come from reports, stats and how someone plays. A ban is between you and the game.

If you think the device is the reason, open a ticket anyway with the game, what happened and when. That's how we hear about a problem early. If we then confirm and announce a block or a detection, you claim the same way as above.

A game update broke something

A game update doesn't change what is on your card, so first find out which side the problem is on.

• Run the speed test first.
  It's in the flashing guide. If it passes, the card and its link to your second computer are working.
• It passes, but the software won't run.
  Blurred updates its own software after a patch and helps in their Discord.
• It fails, or the card is missing.
  Work through DMA card not working.
• The game starts refusing the card.
  The anti-cheat may have updated with the game. Open a ticket with the game, what happened and when.

If your game adds a new anti-cheat

Your build stays made for the anti-cheats on its list, so if your game adds or swaps one, ask in your ticket before you play on it. Whether a change like that counts under your warranty or the upgrade credit: TBD.

Your 90-day activation key

The key lasts 90 days from when we activate it. The firmware itself never runs out. The activator shows how long is left. Ask in your ticket before it runs out and we'll send you a new key for free. Once it runs out, you can't unlock the card to read or write memory after your main PC restarts. Your activation key covers the first time you activate.

MiTM keys

MiTM stops when your key expires, and the activator app shows how long is left. Your slot stays yours for a week after that, so you have time to get the funds together. You have to tell us in your ticket, and you buy the next key there. You only ever pay the entrance fee once.

A key's time counts from when we activate it, not from the day you buy it. Ask in your ticket before you renew. MiTM firmware has the rest.

A second card, or a different PC

Every build except MiTM is made for one card's DNA ID, the number burned into the card's chip, so it only runs on that card.

• Running two cards.
  Each card needs its own build, and you send a DNA ID and an msinfo32 report for each one.
• Replacing your card.
  In warranty we can make your build for the new card at a small extra cost, and the old build is deleted. Out of warranty it's a new purchase.
• Moving to another PC.
  Moving your DMA card to a new PC covers what moves with the card and what you redo, MiTM included.

Selling, sharing or giving it away

Firmware is licensed to you, for your own use, on the card it was made for. Our terms don't allow sharing, reselling or passing a build on. Doing it ends your license and your warranty, with no refund. A MiTM key can't be moved to another person or account either. Moving up or down a tier

• Up.
  Part of what you paid comes off the build you move to. Upgrading to a higher build works through the sums.
• Down.
  After a block or a detection, you can take a device one tier down straight away instead of waiting. Moving back up later costs extra. Moving down by choice: TBD.
