How much does a DMA setup cost?

These are today's prices, added up. None of the totals include the bundle saving, which takes 3 to 15% off parts bought together (how bundles work).

The cheapest way in, if you already own a spare PC

• GODLIKE 100T card, $125.
  Goes in the PC you play on.
• Advanced Firmware, $200.
  Our cheapest build, made for EAC, BattlEye, VAC, Ricochet, ACE and EA.
• A second computer, $0.
  Any spare PC that isn't the one you play on, like an old office desktop or a laptop you stopped using, as long as it has at least 4 cores and a USB 3 port. Your Second Computer has the rest.
• Total: $325, plus the software, which starts around $19.99 a week.

That assumes your spare PC already has a screen, keyboard and mouse. If it doesn't, or you have no spare PC at all, the next section adds up the rest.

Starting from one PC, with nothing spare

• GODLIKE 100T card, $125.
• Advanced Firmware, $200.
• A used office mini PC, about $160.
  A Dell OptiPlex 7060 or 7070 Micro with 6 cores and 16GB, off eBay. We don't sell one.
• Total so far: about $485.

A used mini PC usually comes with a power cable and nothing else, so budget for these too:

• A keyboard and mouse, about $15.
  Any cheap wired set works. $0 if you have spares.
• A way to see it, pick one:
  • A monitor. $0 if you have a spare, or about $80 for a cheap 1080p one.
  • A KVM switch, about $30. We don't sell one. It shares your one keyboard, mouse and screen between both machines, with a button to swap, so you can skip the extra keyboard and mouse.
  • A video fuser, $145 and up. It puts both pictures on one screen at once, but only does video, so you still need the keyboard and mouse. With an office mini PC, get one of the 10th Gen models: the HDMI model is $145 and the DP model $185. The 4K Pro needs better graphics than an office mini PC has.
• A DisplayPort to HDMI cable, about $10.
  Most OptiPlex Micros only have DisplayPort out, and both 10th Gen fusers take HDMI in (so does an HDMI-only monitor). A plain cable like this tops out around 1080p at 144Hz. On a fuser, both computers have to send the same mode. If you play above that, get an active DisplayPort to HDMI 2.0 adapter instead, and check your mini PC can output that mode before you buy.

With a spare monitor, that's about $500. With a cheap monitor about $580. With the HDMI fuser about $655.

Adding an aim device

You only need one if you want the second computer to move your mouse.

• MAKCU, $25.
  1000 Hz. makcu.com says it takes keyboards too.
• FERRUM, $160.
  Mice and keyboards, up to 8000 Hz. Only worth it if you have an 8 kHz mouse.

The full kit from nothing, with the HDMI fuser and MAKCU, is about $680. With FERRUM instead it's about $815.

The software

We don't sell software. We suggest Blurred, and you buy it from Blurred. Blurred sets these prices, so check blurred.gg for today's.

• Call of Duty and ARC Raiders.
  Around $19.99 a week or $29.99 a month. Call of Duty is also around $79.99 for three months or $399.99 lifetime. ARC Raiders has no longer plans.
• Fortnite and Rust.
  Around $24.99 a week, $39.99 a month, $99.99 for three months or $399.99 lifetime.
• GTA V and FiveM.
  No weekly plan. Around $24.99 a month, $69.99 for three months or $299.99 lifetime.

Paying Blurred in crypto is a little cheaper. A Blurred license is locked to your second computer and covers one game, though one GTA license covers FiveM too. Blurred counts lifetime as at least 18 months. Playing something Blurred doesn't cover? Start a topic on the forum and we'll tell you what people are running for that game.

From nothing, with the HDMI fuser, MAKCU and a month of Blurred on Fortnite at around $39.99: about $720. With a spare PC, no aim device and a week of Blurred on Call of Duty or ARC Raiders at around $19.99: about $345.

If you buy a more expensive build

The card, second computer and aim device stay the same. Only the firmware price changes:

• Premium T1, $249. The same anti-cheats as Advanced, with at most 50 people on a device.
• Private, $300. Vanguard, BattlEye, VAC, Ricochet, ACE and EA, not EAC. Intel only for Vanguard.
• MiTM, $180 a month, and your first order is $280 because of the one-time $100 entrance fee. It's a key, so it stops working when the key runs out.

With Private, the cheapest Vanguard build, it's about $780 from nothing with the HDMI fuser and MAKCU, or $425 with a spare PC. Your main PC has to be Intel. Both totals are before software, and Blurred doesn't list the Vanguard games (VALORANT DMA). Firmware tiers covers T2 and T3, and Choosing your firmware has every build side by side.

What you do not have to buy twice

If you build a second setup later or set one up for a friend, you can reuse the second computer, its keyboard and mouse, the fuser and the aim device. You can't reuse the firmware. Every build except MiTM is bound to one card's DNA ID, so a new card means buying firmware again. If you're still in warranty, ask in a ticket first. A Blurred license stays locked to its second computer.
