FTDI SuperSpeed-FIFO Bridge with a warning: how to fix it

FTDI SuperSpeed-FIFO Bridge under Other devices means your DMA card's data driver isn't installed. Install it from MewTools in one click.

In Device Manager on your second PC, FTDI SuperSpeed-FIFO Bridge under Other devices with a yellow triangle means the card's data port is plugged in, but the data driver isn't installed. Your software can't use the card until it is. It's a one-button fix.

Device Manager on the second computer: with the driver in, FTDI FT601 USB 3.0 Bridge Device shows under Universal Serial Bus controllers. Without it, FTDI SuperSpeed-FIFO Bridge shows with a warning under Other devices

How to fix it

Use the button in MewTools, not a driver from a download site. If MewTools won't open, see MewTools blocked by Windows.

Good to know

Device Manager shows the same name even when the link runs at USB 2 speed, so a clean entry doesn't mean the speed is right. The MewTools speed test tells you that. What Device Manager shows has every state. Other errors are in DMA error messages.
