DMA software: what it does and why you need it

The software is the program on your second computer that you use while you play. Your card and firmware get the game's memory to your second computer, and the software turns it into something you can see and use.

Why you need it

• The card only moves memory.
  What comes down the cable is raw numbers. On its own, that shows you nothing.
• The software knows the game.
  It knows where the game keeps players, items and positions, and reads just those parts through your card.
• It's made per game.
  Every game stores things its own way and moves them around with updates, so software covers a list of games and gets updated after patches.

Without it, a DMA setup has nothing at the end of the cable.

How it works

• It reads the game's memory through your card.
  Over the USB cable, from your second computer. Nothing is injected into the game.
• It draws what it finds.
  ESP means seeing players, items and loot through walls, with boxes, names and health drawn on top, plus a radar. You see it on your second computer's screen, or over your game with a video fuser.
• It can move your mouse, if you have an aim device.
  Aimbot and triggerbot need an aim device. The software can't touch your main PC, so it tells the aim device to move your mouse, and your main PC sees a normal mouse.
• It has a menu.
  That's where you pick what gets drawn and set up your aim.

Where everything runs

• Your main PC only holds the card.
  Nothing gets installed on it.
• Everything else runs on the second computer.
  The software, and the activator if your build came with one. You run the activator again every time your main PC restarts, and Your activation key covers the key.
• On MiTM, the second computer does more.
  The MiTM software runs there too, and your MiTM slot is locked to that computer's hardware ID. If you replace that computer, we can move it.

What it doesn't do

• It doesn't hide you.
  Your firmware decides what the card looks like to your main PC, and how you play decides the rest. Is DMA detectable? explains how people get caught.
• It doesn't fix hardware.
  If the speed test in the flashing guide fails, the problem is the card, the cable or the port, not the software.
