Reviews vs vouches on MewDMA

A review is about something you bought from us. A vouch is one member saying in public that another member was good to deal with, and it goes on their profile. They follow different rules.

Reviews

• Only buyers can post one.
  You need a paid order with that product in it. Use the Leave a review box on your order page, or the review form on the product's page or the reviews page.
• It covers the whole order.
  Bought a card, firmware and a MAKCU together? One review, and it shows on all three products.
• It goes live straight away. Staff can take a review down if it breaks the rules.
• You can post an update about the same order every 2 weeks. Firmware is worth an update a few weeks in, once you know how it's holding up.
• No links or web addresses. A review with one is refused until you take it out.

A review gives you 50 points, and one review counts every 2 weeks. Each Helpful someone presses on it gives you 4 more. If you'd rather not get the email asking how your order is holding up, turn off review reminders in Settings.

Vouches

Use a vouch after a good trade, a setup someone walked you through, or help that went beyond one reply.

• One per person. Posting again edits the vouch you already left, at most once a day, and you can take it back.
• They get one reply. The person you vouched for can answer once, and can't edit it after.
• Your account needs to be 3 days old, or at Comet rank (120 points), before you can vouch. You can write 3 a day, or 10 at Comet.
• Write each one for that person. Words you already used in another vouch are refused, and so are links until you reach Comet.
• No vouching for yourself, and nobody can vouch for someone who has blocked them. If staff remove your vouch for someone, you can't vouch for them again for 30 days.

A vouch gives the person 10 points and you 2. It only counts for them when it comes from an account with a real, confirmed email address.

Vouches in our Discord

The vouches channel in our Discord is about the shop, and only the Customer role can post there. A message posted in it shows on the site as a review. Put a rating in it, like 5/5 or 9/10, or a row of stars. A Discord vouch with no rating stays hidden until we set its stars, because we won't put a number on your words that you didn't give. One with a link in it waits until we've looked at it.

Writing a review that helps

The most useful reviews answer what the next buyer is wondering.

• Say what you run it on: your motherboard, your second computer and the game.
• Say how long you've used it. "Two weeks in" tells people more than "works great".
• Say what went wrong, if anything, and how it got sorted. A flash that failed and got fixed in a ticket is worth knowing about.
• Name the build if you write about bans or detection, so the next person can compare it with their own.
• Keep your details private. No DNA ID, order number or anything that identifies your game accounts.
